Joe Hart hints Finding Coach that can Rate him

Joe Hart hints that instead of taking Pep Guardiola’s views to heart and doubting himself, he would like to find a manager who rates him and respects his way of goalkeeping.

As per Hart, there are many views about a Football player and the views can be contrasting. Someone would say a player is fantastic and the other might say no, he is not. But, a player can’t listen to everyone.

In the case of Hart, it’s only the views of the selected people he says he listens to.

The goalie was quoted as, “Look, this I had understood long back that I could not make everyone happy with my game. There are people I have special bonding with and I leave it to them to see how I am going and when they come to me with an advice, I really consider it and implement it, but, I can’t implement every advice I get or I can’t tell myself ‘I have to show this guy that his opinion is wrong’ because with that mind-set, I will not help myself.” Continue reading

Three Lions pacy winger, Raheem Sterling fears for his Manchester City future due to a crisis of confidence over his form at the Etihad.

The Sky Blues player was said to be ‘distraught’ after coming off during the Three Lions’ 2-1 friendly victory over Turkey on Sunday, according to reports from The Mirror.

Sterling will be given a chance to rediscover his best in Friday’s friendly international against Australia, but has claimed he has been robbed of his rhythm and belief since joining City from Liverpool last summer in a £47million transfer. Sterling believes that the ‘two-touch’ style of football he has been encouraged to play under Manuel Pellegrini, which is likely to become even more pronounced under new City boss Pep Guardiola, does not suit his natural game, especially his ability to run at opposition defenders as he was used to Liverpool and hailed. Manuel Pellegrini worried about Points Table

Manuel Pellegrini believes that finishing in fifth spot of the Premier league will be a disaster come true for Manchester City.

The club were regarded as title contenders at the start of the campaign, but inconsistent form throughout the season has seen them slowly slip out of title contention. Now, they are in a position where they could realistically miss out on Champions League qualification for next season. They are fourth in the table, but Manchester United have reduced the deficit to City to just one point with two games left. City, worryingly, take on Arsenal away from home.

The gunners will be able to seal the third spot, which will guarantee automatic qualification to the Champions League, with a victory against City. This will be the foremost aim of Arsene Wenger’s team and it will not be easy to play against them at home. United seem to have the momentum and are favourites to win the remaining two matches. City have allowed themselves to be in this position after prioritising the Champions League semifinals over the league. Pellegrini, who will leave at the end of the campaign, seems to have desired going out on a high rather than ensuring top four finish since it will no longer be his problem come the end of the campaign.

“If you are not in the top four and in the Champions League the next year, to demonstrate you are one of the best teams in England, then for me it’s a disaster of a season. That’s why I always said last year, when we didn’t win any titles, that it was not a disaster. It was not a good season but a disaster is when you are not involved in the next season’s Champions League. That is a disaster for all the big teams,” saidPellegrini.

Manchester City moved to third in the Premier League

Manchester City moved to third in the Premier League after a fine win over Chelsea.

The 3-0 win over the West London outfit at Stamford Bridge was only the second for City at this ground in recent years. However, it may have been one of the most convincing. It has put City firmly in control of the race for the top three places. This gives the club a huge advantage since they will not have to be involved in a qualifying game to reach the group stages. Arsenal, meanwhile, have slipped to fourth spot following the latest results.

Manuel Pellegrini ruled out the possibility of winning the title a few weeks ago and he may not change his position even after this victory. City have left themselves with too much to do in the final five games of the campaign. It would take an astronomical collapse from Leicester and Tottenham in order to see City crowned as the champions. Pellegrini will be leaving the club at the end of the campaign to be replaced by Pep Guardiola. The club’s poor form started once the announcement was made official. Pellegrini, though, says that the club’s failure to remain in the title race was down to other factors. Continue reading

Paul Scholes recently criticised the club’s style of play

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes recently criticised the club’s style of play under Louis van Gaal after their fourth consecutive match without a victory.

The Dutchman has already received plenty of criticism for the perceived negative style of football being employed at the club. However, their criticism has been less profound when the results have been good. Now that the club has failed to win the last four games in all competitions, Van Gaal is once again finding himself in the corner and even being subjected to criticism from the club’s legend. Scholes is regarded as one of the finest players to have played for United.

He recently branded United’s style as ‘boring’ and Van Gaal has not taken these comments lightly. Van Gaal says that the former midfielder has the power to say anything because he does not have any responsibility. He also questioned the need for making such comments. Scholes has been involved in punditry since retiring from football couple of years ago. He has also been actively writing columns for various companies and newspapers. United have fallen to fourth in the table following the recent 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace. This might also highlighted the struggle in front of goal for United’s stars. Continue reading

Joe Hart says that he is looking forward to seeing Barcelona win the Champions League fina

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says that he is looking forward to seeing Barcelona win the Champions League final on June 6.

The Catalan club will be playing against Juventus in the final at Berlin. Barcelona are hoping to become five-time European champions with a victory whereas the Italian outfit are still searching for their first win in this competition since 1996. They have already suffered defeats in the final on two occasions and will be hoping for being third time lucky.Hart, though, says that Barcelona will be the team he will be supporting on the night of the big occasion and it is primarily because of their superstar Lionel Messi.

The England number one has come up against Messi already this season. Despite playing extraordinarily well,Hart was badly let down by his teammates. His second leg display at the Camp Nou earlier this season was especially excellent. It was only down to the goalkeeping byHart that the game finished as a 1-0 defeat for the Premier League team. The aggregate loss of 3-1saw them knocked out of the competition at the last 16 stage once again. City have now failed to reach the quarter-finals in all of their Champions League seasons. Manchester City winning chances of Premier League still Alive

Manchester City’s chances of winning the Premier League have stayed alive in a large part thanks to the sensational season and form that Sergio Aguero is going through but not even the Argentine attacker has been able to do much to stop Manchester City from sinking in the lower spots of their group in the Champions League.

The Champions League is starting to look like a title that might just be too far away from the hands of Manchester City at least in this season after the Premier League club lost against Bayern Munich and later drew with As.Roma and CSKA Moscow.

On October 21 of the current year, Manchester City had to travel to the Arena Khimki in Russia in order to face off with CSKA Moscow and the match finished in a 2-2 draw. Taking into consideration that Manchester City was playing in a completely different stadium and temperature than usual, a draw was not such a disastrous result for the team of Manuel Pellegrini.

15 days later and Manchester City played against CSKA Moscow but this time it was played on the home turf of the Premier League club at the Etihad Stadium and City was in dying need of a victory in order to keep their hopes of advancing past the group stages of the Champions League but the English club lost 2-1.

Even the coach himself has been left baffled and shocked by the surprising string of results that his squad of players have been picking up as Manuel Pellegrini said:

“All of them are important players so I don’t understand why they cannot play in the Champions League, but we must review a lot of things to understand why it was such a low performance’’

The chances of Manchester City advancing through the group stages of the Champions League is extremely difficult with only 2 matches left to be played, City will be facing off against Bayern Munich and As.Roma and they will need to claim victories against both in order to have any chance of progressing through Group E.
