It is unreal the amount of times i’ve watched this.
how many times city won it and how many times united won it? city have to buy the league and only do it by goal difference LOL
going mental? If this happened here in Italy, especially with two teams of the same city, let’s say like inter and milan… even commentators would’ve been screaming and kicking and smashing their own headphones, and then they would be probably crying and people would go all over the places destroying everything
glad to see man u lose haha, congrats City!

FFP is the first step to create a divide.
WE FUCKING DESERVE THIS!
Yes, unfortunately football is now completely corrupt. Sepp Blatter has been ‘groomed’ for ages by the Qatar Royals (use of private jets etc), so it’s no surprise they got the WC 2022. I think the most worrying thing however is the attitude of the fans of these rich clubs who thoroughly believe they deserve this success based on the size of the owners bank balance. Football is a money business now, but when some clubs’ accounts magically reset to zero after a £100millions loss, it’s just stupid.
Considering Chelsea have spent the most in the PL era and completely overpaid for players? I agree with the Financial Fair Play Rules and the last point you made, however with that said, there are a few more teams other than City who would struggle to pay wages through their own Operational Income. Unfortunately Football has become a business and its something many people don’t like. Intergrating the FFP is only the first step to help keep the smaller teams in touch with the bigger teams.
I would place Chelsea and Man City in the same bracket. Paris St Germain and that Russian team (can’t remember/spell the name) are also in this bracket. The financial fair play rules are a good thing for football, even if City have tried to cheat them by selling the stadium rights to themselves for an overinflated amount. I hope they get pulled up for this. When a club can’t pay the players wages through its own internal operational income (City) something has to be done.
You really can go up to the FA and say “Excuse me how much for the Premier League trophy?” You are about as thick as everyone else here saying City brought the League. Can I ask you one question, why do the kids now complain about City spending big to win things but NO-ONE EVER done it when Chelsea won the League under Mourinho and how much they spent? Are people actually shocked that City proved everyone wrong by winning the league when no-one thought they would when they first got taken over?
So does that also mean Chelsea brought the PL, FA Cup, Carling Cup & CL considering their net spend is £515m which is higher than Citys? You can’t buy the league. You can buy players to HELP you win the League. If the club you supported were back by rich owners would you complain if they were spending big? or would you complain if they wernt? Yeah City have spent big, but where in the PL rules does it say a team can’t spend HELP them win trophies? Chelsea done it so why can’t City?
wanker
Also, take a look at the amount City have paid agents….
The website below is very revealing, the net spend for Fergie over the whole PL era is £8million per season (not including money generated through business means, just player sales/acquisitions), Manchester City net spend is £23 million per season since the start of the PL (all from money not generated by Man City..). From 2006-2011 City’s net spend was £83 million per season, United’s net spending in the same period was the 8th highest in the PL. City have definitely bought the league.
