Bellingham transfer draws ever nearer
Manchester City have been linked with moves for a trio of England’s international midfielders stars, as the prospect of another Premier League title looks ever more likely.
The Cityzen’s convincing 4-1 win over Arsenal has left Pep Guardiola’s team just two points off the top of the table, with two matches in hand. It leaves the prospect of the Premier League and Champions League double as far more than just an ambitious dream.
Far from resting on their laurels though, City are expected to strengthen further during the summer transfer window, with experts at Bookmakers.tv scouring the betting sites to find exactly who Guardiola will have his eyes on.
Attacking moves for Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi are now far less likely than in previous years, with Erling Haaland and Julián Álvarez potentially set to lead the line for City for the next decade.
Far more probable is the much talked about move for Jude Bellingham, even more so after Jurgen Klopp’s recent comments appeared to rule Liverpool out of the running. James Maddison and Declan Rice are other interesting names reportedly being considered, particularly if the former finds himself relegated and available cheaply. Rice meanwhile has long been linked to Chelsea, but the prospect of City firming up their interest could prove decisive if the West Ham talisman demands Champions League football.
Odds for selected players to join Manchester City during the summer transfer window:
- Jude Bellingham 2/1
- James Maddison 6/1
- Neymar 12/1
- Declan Rice 14/1
- Alexis Mac Allister 16/1
- Kylian Mbappe 16/1
- Lionel Messi 20/1
- Paul Pogba 20/1
- Mason Mount 33/1
- Harry Kane 33/1
